This student has done fine with materials we've purchased from a variety of sources in homeschooling. Have been using this for 7 weeks and finally had to stop due to the frustration level my high schooler was experiencing. I want my daughter to think, but I can't grade her work if I don't know what she's thinking is correct in this language. When speaking with the customer representative, whom I sought out by phone because they would not respond to my email, she said that some of the answers are "subjective" in order to get the student to think. After paying a fair amount for the program, I was not expecting to be required to do what I "hired" them to do. And this didn't occur just once or twice the answer book is riddled with this option of an answer.

Without given a definite answer, I am left to guessing or doing the legwork to translate her answer. What?!? How on earth am I supposed to know if what my daughter wrote is correct. As I attempted to grade my daughter's workbook, I would come across "Respuestas variables" which means answers will vary. Apparently, Rosetta Stone is under the impression that the person grading the workbook has a complete understanding of the language being learned. My daughter was going through the program steadily when we encountered grading issues. After running circles and having little response from Rosetta Stone support, I have thrown my hands up.
